Adult Ballet & Dance for Individuals with Parkinson’s Disease at San Francisco Ballet

Cecelia Beam is currently an adult ballet and dance instructor for individuals with Parkinson’s disease at the San Francisco Ballet. Cecelia was previously a ballet dancer with the San Francisco Ballet School.

Cecelia Beam's educational career began with a HS Diploma in Ballet from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Cecelia then went on to earn their B.A. in Dance and Psych from San Francisco State University. After working for a few years, they decided to return to school to earn their M.S. in Ballet from Indiana University Bloomington. Finally, they earned their M.P.A. in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco.

Some of their coworkers include Lauren MacMadu - School Faculty, Pascal Molat - Ballet & Trainee Program Assistant, and Bongo Sidibe - Accompanist. Their manager is Patrick Armand, Director, San Francisco Ballet School.
