Matthew Naughtin

Orchestra Personnel Manager & Music Administrator at San Francisco Ballet

Matthew Naughtin has worked as a music librarian for some of the most prestigious orchestras in the United States. Matthew began their career with the Omaha Symphony in 1980, eventually becoming their Principal Music Librarian. In 1997, they took a position with the Peninsula Music Festival, followed by the Colorado Music Festival in 1999.

In 2010, Naughtin returned to their home state of California to work as Orchestra Music Librarian for the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Matthew held this position for two years before taking on the role of Interim Music Librarian at the San Francisco Symphony. Matthew remained with the Symphony for less than a year before returning to the Ballet, where they had previously worked from 2002-2004. Naughtin currently serves as Orchestra Personnel Manager & Music Administrator for the San Francisco Ballet.

Matthew Naughtin completed a Bachelor of Music (BMus) in Music Performance at Northwestern University.
