John Cote

John Cote has an extensive work experience in the field of communications and journalism. John started their career as a Staff Writer at The Modesto Bee from June 2002 to January 2005. John then worked as a Staff Writer at the South Florida Sun Sentinel from January 2005 to May 2006. After that, they joined the San Francisco Chronicle as a Staff Writer from May 2006 to February 2015. In 2015, they became the Strategic Communications Manager at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) and held the position until October 2016. From October 2016 onwards, they served as the Communications Director at the San Francisco City Attorney's Office. John'smost recent role is the Communications Director at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, which they started in November 2021.

John Cote pursued their education in a chronological order. From 1990 to 1994, they attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature.
