Sarah Crowley

Sarah Crowley is an experienced attorney currently serving as a Deputy City Attorney at the San Francisco City Attorney's Office since June 2019. Prior to this role, Crowley was the Director of the Clean Slate Practice at the East Bay Community Law Center from December 2013 to May 2019, focusing on impact litigation to eliminate barriers for individuals with criminal records. Crowley’s earlier career includes positions as an Associate Attorney at Gross Belsky Alonso LLP, where involvement in complex civil litigation spanned civil rights and employment cases, and as a Johnnie L. Cochran, Jr. Civil Rights Fellow at Neufeld Scheck & Brustin, LLP, representing plaintiffs in wrongful conviction federal civil rights cases. A Law Clerk at the Federal Court for the Southern District of New York from August 2007 to August 2008, Crowley earned a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature from Princeton University.
