Genetric Brown

Genetric Brown is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in directing public affairs, marketing, and communications across various sectors. Currently serving as Communications Director for the San Francisco Department of Public Health since April 2023, Genetric previously held the role of Director of Public Affairs at UNITE-LA/Long Beach Unified School District, where efforts resulted in significant operational resource fundraising for early childhood education. Previous roles include Director of Marketing and Communications for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles, Marketing Director for the United States Air Force, and various positions at California State University, Long Beach, Nielsen, Los Angeles Times, and Disney ABC Television Group. Genetric holds a Master of Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach, along with certifications and degrees in meeting planning and mass communication.
