Randy Quezada has an extensive work history, starting their career in 2001 as an Urban Fellow at the New York City Board of Education. Randy then worked as the Civic and Electoral Participation Program Coordinator at the New York Immigration Coalition before moving on to roles as Director of Community Relations and Special Assistant to the Commissioner at the Department of Homeless Services. In 2005, they joined the California Housing Partnership Corporation as a Housing Preservation Specialist. Randy then took on various roles at the University of California, San Francisco, the San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development, and Pacific Gas and Electric Company. From 2016 to 2019, they served as the Communications and Community Relations Manager at the San Francisco Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing. Most recently, they held the position of Communications Director at both the Port of San Francisco (2019-2022) and the San Francisco District Attorney's Office (2022-present).
Randy Quezada attended the Harvard Kennedy School from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained a Master's in Public Policy (MPP) with a focus on Political Advocacy and Leadership. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania from 1997 to 2001. Randy also attended Milton Academy, a high school, from 1993 to 1997.
