Eunice McHugh

Director, Private Credit at San Francisco Employees' Retirement System (SFERS)

Eunice McHugh has a diverse range of work experience in the financial industry. Eunice started their career at Lehman Brothers as an Associate in Private Investment Management from 2006 to 2008. Eunice then joined Morgan Stanley as a Senior Associate in Private Wealth Management from 2008 to 2013. In 2013, they also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of San Francisco. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Security Analyst in Fixed Income at the San Francisco Employees' Retirement System (SFERS). Eunice then progressed within SFERS, holding positions such as Senior Portfolio Manager in Fixed Income from 2014 to 2017 and Senior Portfolio Manager in Private Credit from 2017 to 2022. In recognition of their achievements, Eunice was awarded the Institutional Investor's 2023 AlphaEdge Award for "Private Credit Investing - Outstanding Manager Selection Approach" and was also recognized as a 2023 "Rising Allocator" by Milken Institute.

Eunice McHugh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Davis, and a Master of Science degree in Financial Analysis from the University of San Francisco.
