Freddy Coronado-Barraza

Freddy Coronado-Barraza is an experienced professional in zero waste management and environmental sustainability. Currently serving as the Residential Zero Waste Assistant Coordinator at the San Francisco Department of the Environment since April 2021, Freddy has previously held the role of Program Coordinator at Pact Collective, where responsibilities included monitoring project plans and enhancing recycling programs for beauty products. Freddy's earlier experience with the San Francisco Department of the Environment as a Residential Zero Waste Associate involved implementation and coordination of waste reduction initiatives. Additional experience includes zero waste education outreach at Envirolutions Consulting, and various roles at Gigantic Idea Studio, Recology, and Cascadia Consulting Group, focusing on environmental education and technical assistance for waste management. Freddy holds a degree in Geography and Human Environmental Studies from San Francisco State University.
