Kelly Gaherty

Kelly Gaherty is an experienced professional in environmental sustainability with a focus on waste reduction and green business practices. Currently serving as Coordinator for the Commercial Zero Waste program at the San Francisco Environment Department since June 2019, Kelly has also held roles including Assistant Coordinator and Green Business Associate within the same department. Previously, Kelly worked as a Senior Operations Associate at Plenty, and as a Waste Reduction Intern at UC Davis Student Housing and Dining Services. Additional experience includes managing kitchen operations as Kitchen Manager at ASUCD Coffee House and developing educational content as a Girls Leaning Environment and Energy Intern at Stanford University in 2014. Kelly holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Davis, obtained between 2014 and 2017.
