Jane Rinard

Jane Rinard is an experienced music educator currently serving as the Lower School Music Specialist at San Francisco Friends School since August 2021. Prior to this role, Jane worked as a Music Teacher at Oakwood School from August 2020 to January 2022 and at The American School of Bombay from August 2013 to July 2020. Additional teaching experience includes a position at The American School in London for the 2012-2013 academic year and a long tenure at San Francisco Day School from August 2005 to June 2012. Jane holds a Master’s degree in Music Education from Holy Names University and a Bachelor’s degree in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.
