Gerry Chow has extensive work experience in finance and strategy roles. Gerry started their career as a Development Associate at Crocker Art Museum in 1996 and later became a Senior Grants Officer at Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. In 2007, they worked as a Summer Associate at Public Broadcasting Service and in 2008, they served as a Business Development and Strategy Specialist at Goodwill Industries. From 2009 to 2015, they held various finance and risk management positions at Goodwill Industries of San Francisco, San Mateo, and Marin Counties, including Director of Finance and Risk Management and VP of Finance and Risk Management. In 2015, they joined San Francisco General Hospital Foundation as the Vice President of Finance and later became the Chief Financial Officer in July 2020. In addition to their professional roles, they also served as a Board Member at Kearny Street Workshop from 2004 to 2009.
Gerry Chow pursued their higher education starting from 1993 to 1996 at the University of California, Davis, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Studio and English. Gerry further advanced their education from 2006 to 2008 at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
