John Metcalfe

John Metcalfe serves as a Professor in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at UCSF since September 2020, having previously held the position of Assistant Professor in the same division from July 2009 to September 2015. John earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Epidemiology from UC Berkeley, where study occurred from September 2008 to June 2012. Prior educational accomplishments include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) from Tufts University School of Medicine from 1998 to 2003 and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Molecular Biology from Humboldt State University from 1994 to 1998.
