Svp, Player Performance And Wellness at San Francisco Giants

Colin Cahill has an extensive work experience, starting with their current role as the SVP of Player Performance and Wellness at the San Francisco Giants since November 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of VP of Player Performance and Wellness at the same company from October 2019 to October 2022.

Before joining the San Francisco Giants, Cahill served as a Board Observer for RefleXion Medical starting in March 2014. Colin also worked as a Board Member for Shockwave Medical, Inc. from May 2015 to June 2021.

Cahill's experience in the healthcare industry includes their role as Vice President of Healthcare Investor at Venrock from November 2012 to September 2019. Additionally, Cahill served as a Board Observer for 10X Genomics from September 2013 to August 2019, Ariosa Diagnostics from January 2013 to December 2014, and Achaogen from December 2012 to March 2014.

Prior to their roles in the healthcare industry, Cahill was involved in the medical technology sector as Co-Founder and held various positions at Simpirica Spine, Inc. from September 2006 to November 2012. Colin co-founded the company, served as President/CEO and Chief Development Officer, and also worked as a consultant.

Cahill began their career as the Senior Director of Business Development at PureTech Development LLC in July 2002 and held the role until March 2003. Colin co-founded Cellicon Biotechnologies and worked as the Executive Director of Operations from August 2000 to March 2003.

Colin Cahill has a diverse education history. Colin first attended Stanford University from 1993 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics. Later, they pursued further studies at Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2004 to 2006, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. In between, from 2003 to 2004, they also completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biological Sciences at Stanford University.
