Gabriel Alvarez

Gabriel Alvarez has extensive experience in player development and operations within Major League Baseball, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Player Development-Operations for the San Francisco Giants since April 2007. Alvarez's career includes progressive roles in minor league operations, beginning as an Arizona Minor League Operations Assistant, advancing to Senior Coordinator, and ultimately holding managerial positions. Previously, Alvarez gained experience as a Marketing Intern with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and a Publicity Intern at Fox Sports Net. At the University of Southern California, Alvarez worked in the Sports Information Office, handling media relations for various athletic teams. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and completion of the Major League Baseball Scout Development Program.
