Joe Shapero

Joe Shapero has a diverse work experience in the sports industry. Joe started their career as a Corporate Partnerships Intern at the Sacramento River Cats in 2007. Joe then worked as a Business Growth Intern at VAVi Sport & Social Club and as a Marketing Intern at UC San Diego in 2008. From 2009 to 2012, they were a Marketing Coordinator at The National Sports Forum, where they planned and implemented marketing strategies for the conference. At Cal Athletics, from 2012 to 2014, they served as a CRM Manager, overseeing database administration and maintenance. Joe then joined the Oakland Raiders as a CRM Manager, responsible for the Salesforce CRM system. Since 2017, Joe has been with the San Francisco Giants, where they worked their way up from Manager to Senior Manager and is currently the Director of Research and CRM Strategy, focusing on CRM and data strategy.

Joe Shapero graduated from UC San Diego in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science. Prior to that, they received their high school diploma from Bellarmine College Preparatory in 2004. In 2016, they obtained a certification as a Salesforce Certified Administrator from Salesforce.
