Nupur Sinha has extensive experience in architecture and aviation planning, currently serving as the Director of Planning and Environmental Affairs at San Francisco International Airport since January 2016, with previous roles including Acting Director and Planning & Design Program Manager. Nupur has participated as a Planning Advisory Board Member since January 2018 and as a Design Review Committee Member since June 2017. Prior to San Francisco International Airport, Nupur worked at Gensler from March 2005 to December 2015 as a Designer in Aviation, focusing on strategic programming and design implementation across various disciplines. Earlier experience includes positions at Leo A Daly as a designer and aviation planner, with significant projects such as designs for Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport and Dallas Fort-Worth International Airport. Nupur began a professional career with architecture internships at multiple firms, complemented by a Master of Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Sustainable Architecture from The University of Sheffield, and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Ahmadu Bello University.
