Bosco Hernández has a diverse work experience starting in 2000 as a Designer at Matiz. Bosco then worked as an Intern at Erik Olsen Graphic Design for a few months before joining Lux Design as a Senior Designer from 2002 to 2010. In 2011, they worked as a Designer at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art before joining Werkplaats Typografie for their Experimental Master's Programme in Graphic Design from 2011 to 2013. After completing the program, they returned to SFMOMA as an Art Director and later became the Design Director in 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Board Member at SEGD since 2022.
Bosco Hernández holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Graphic Design from Werkplaats Typographie, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design from Rhode Island School of Design, studying from 1999 to 2002. In 1997 and 1998, they attended Scuola Lorenzo d' Medici, focusing on Fine Art, Printmaking, and Art History. Additionally, Bosco Hernández has obtained a LEED Green Associate certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, although the exact year of certification is undisclosed.
