Kari Dahlgren

Kari Dahlgren is a seasoned professional in the field of publications and education within the arts, currently serving as the Director of Publications and Interim Chief Education and Community Engagement Officer at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art since April 2014. Previously, Kari held the position of Acquisitions Editor for Art History at the University of California Press from September 2010 to April 2014, and worked as Publications Manager at the Center for Creative Photography from July 2005 to August 2010. Kari's career in publications began as Associate Director of Publications at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, a role held from July 1997 to May 2005. Kari earned a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Northwestern University between 1993 and 1997.
