Alyssa Faith Scott is a dedicated legal intern currently working at the San Francisco Public Defender's Office since June 2023, following an internship with Prisoner Legal Services where Alyssa engaged with incarcerated individuals and assisted in legal documentation. Previous experience includes roles at the Workers’ Rights Clinic, where Alyssa supported community members, and as Fundraising & Finance Director for Matt Haney's Assembly campaign, managing fundraising, policy research, and volunteer supervision. Alyssa has contributed to law and policy reform with the San Francisco Department of Police Accountability and as a Budget Fellow for District Supervisor Matt Haney's Office. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Arts in World Arts and Cultures from UCLA.
