Brian C. currently serves as a Deputy Public Defender at the San Francisco Public Defender's Office, a position held since June 2019, after previously working in criminal defense there from August 2015 to February 2019. Prior to this, Brian served as a Policy Analyst at the San Francisco Ethics Commission for a brief period in early 2019. Earlier experience includes various legal roles such as Law Clerk at the United States Attorney's Office, Judicial Intern for the Honorable Carl E. Stewart at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and Research Assistant at Tulane University Law School. Brian also contributed to the Cowen Institute for Public Education Initiatives as a Cowen Scholar and Policy Intern. Brian earned a Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Yale University.
