Jordyn Houle

Jordyn Houle is a legal intern at the San Francisco Public Defender's Office since May 2022, where responsibilities include client interviews and court appearances, as well as criminal law research and memo writing. Prior experience includes roles as a peer writing consultant at the Sweetland Center for Writing, a policy associate at Michigan AFL-CIO focused on worker's rights, and campus organizer positions for both Elizabeth Warren and Elissa Slotkin during their respective political campaigns. Jordyn has also worked as a legislative intern for the United States Senate and the Michigan House of Representatives, gaining valuable experience in policy research, constituent engagement, and legislative support. Jordyn holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.
