Matthew Lipson

Matthew Lipson has an extensive background in library services and information management, with experience spanning several prominent institutions. Since March 2016, Matthew has worked as a Library Assistant and previously as a Library Page at the San Francisco Public Library. Prior to this role, Matthew served as a Library Page at the Palo Alto Public Library. Additional positions include Counter Staff and Zamboni Driver at Belmont Iceland, Palo Alto Pushcart Coordinator at Jewish Learning Works, and various roles at Santa Clara University, where responsibilities included enhancing library holdings and managing visual materials. Previous positions also include Information Specialist roles at the Charles and Helen Schwab Family Foundation and Elan Pharmaceuticals, as well as Library Specialist positions at Stanford University and Stanford Graduate School of Business. Matthew holds a Master’s degree in Legal Studies with a focus on Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine Law and a Bachelor's degree in History from UCLA.
