Kelli Rudnick is an experienced project manager currently working with the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department since April 2019. Prior to this role, Kelli served as a project manager for the Better Streets initiative at the City and County of San Francisco from September 2012 to April 2019. Kelli's expertise in urban design is further demonstrated through previous positions, including urban design consultant at Shared Spaces Landscape Architecture and project associate at Amigos de los Ríos, where skills in conceptual design, project management, urban forestry, and community outreach were developed. Additionally, Kelli gained teaching experience as an adjunct teaching assistant at The Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture. Educational qualifications include a Master of Landscape Architecture from The City College of New York and a Bachelor of Arts in Film from San Francisco State University.

The San Francisco Recreation and Park Department’s Mission is to provide enriching recreational activities, maintain beautiful parks and preserve the environment for the well-being of everyone in our diverse community. The San Francisco Recreation and Park Department administers more than 220 parks, playgrounds, and open spaces, including two outside the city limits-- Camp Mather in Yosemite Valley and Sharp Park in Pacifica, Calif. Our park system includes 25 recreation centers, nine swimming pools, five golf courses and numerous tennis courts, ball diamonds, soccer fields and other sports venues. Included in the department’s responsibilities are the Marina Yacht Harbor, the San Francisco Zoo, and Lake Merced. Our staff members are diverse, committed and talented recreation and park professionals, from gardeners, foresters, and recreation leaders to park patrol officers, custodians, electricians, painters, and more.
