Marni Cook

Senior Director Community Engagement Volunteer Services at San Francisco Symphony

Marni Cook has a diverse range of work experience in event management and community engagement. Marni has held various leadership roles at the San Francisco Symphony, starting as the Director of Special Events & Volunteer Services in 2010, then progressing to Director Community Engagement, Special Events & Volunteer Services in 2015, and finally becoming the Senior Director of Community Engagement & Volunteer Services in 2019. Prior to their time at the symphony, Cook worked as the Senior Corporate Events Manager at Informatica from 2003 to 2010. Marni also served as the Director of Special Events at the San Francisco Opera Guild from 1999 to 2003 and as an Events Manager at the San Francisco Bay Area Alzheimer Association in 1999.

Marni Cook pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Stage Management from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
