Kathryn Horton is the Vice President of Convention and Event Services at San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau, where Kathryn leads the team that collaborates with meeting planners hosting events in the city. Previously, Kathryn held the position of Sales Coordinator at The Sheraton Corporation. Kathryn holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Boston University.

The San Francisco Travel Association is an independent, not-for-profit destination marketing organization with more than 1,500 business members. Its mission is to enhance the local economy by marketing San Francisco and the Bay Area as the premier destination for conventions, meetings, events and leisure travel. To accomplish this goal, the San Francisco Travel Association courts a highly qualified list of national, regional and state meeting planners; domestic and international tour packagers, wholesalers, operators and travel agents; leisure travelers; and local, national and international media.
