Holly Hagens has been a venture capitalist for most of her professional career, with a primary focus on early- and growth-stage investments in life science companies. She has recently been with Scout Venture Partners, providing consulting services to early-stage life science companies and venture capital firms. Holly previously served as an investment professional at AEA Investors and Apax Partners. She has worked at the Boston Consulting Group, and she started her career at Morgan Stanley. Holly has been a former member of the board of trustees at MCDS, where she was a past president of the MCDS Parents Association, co-chaired the development planning committee (which led the school’s $42 million capital campaign), and the head of school search committee. She currently chairs the transition committee and serves on the executive committee and the committee on trustees at UHS. Holly also serves on the Brown University Advisory Council for Athletics and was a board member of the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco from 2009 to 2018. Holly earned her MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and received her B.A. from Brown University, where she played varsity soccer and earned three Ivy League soccer titles.
