Leonard Chung is a technology industry veteran, successfully developing and delivering products and ideas from zero to one. After graduating from UHS, Leonard received B.A. in computer science and cognitive science from the University of California, Berkeley. He is the cofounder of String.ai and was the founder and CEO of Syncplicity, acquired by EMC Corporation in 2012. Leonard has been working in the areas of collaboration, data management, and internet-scale applications for more than eighteen years and is an inventor who holds seven patents. His past products include Windows PowerShell, SETI@home, and the internet storage company Scale Eight. His notable past collaborators include RISC and RAID pioneer David Patterson and Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Turing Award winner Jim Gray.
