San Francisco University High School
Sheila Cuthbert is a native of Illinois. She graduated magna cum laude, phi beta kappa from Wellesley College, where she received a BA degree in Political Science and Sociology with minors in French and Anthropology. Sheila received her Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude and order of the Coif and was an editor of the Law Review. Sheila went on to clerk for the Honorable James F. Holderman in the Northern District of Illinois. Sheila worked in the U.S. Attorney's Office in Chicago and was an attorney at Keker, Van Nest & Peters LLP in San Francisco. Sheila has volunteered continuously since having children. She co-chaired the school auction and chaired the admissions committee at the Little School for several years. She served on the Executive Committee of the Hamlin School Parents Association for eight years and is entering her fourth year as the Parents Association President at UHS.

San Francisco University High School, a college preparatory secondary school, offers an intellectually stimulating, personally enriching, and academically challenging program in the liberal arts and sciences to an able and diverse student body. Standards of excellence guide all aspects of their program and the people engaged in it. They seek to instill in students the skills and attitudes of the lifelong learner and the responsible, engaged, and productive citizen.
