Jennifer Cerda

Jennifer Cerda is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in career services and student engagement. Currently serving as a Career and Transfer Coordinator at San Jacinto College since January 2018, Jennifer has also held positions as a Career Services Specialist and Student Engagement and Activities Program Specialist. Prior to this role, Jennifer worked at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley as the Food Pantry Program Coordinator, where responsibilities included coordinating events, managing pantry publicity, and distributing food to students facing food insecurities. Earlier experience includes serving as the Community Services Connection Coordinator at The University of Texas-Pan American, facilitating volunteer opportunities for students. Jennifer holds a Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from The University of Texas-Pan American.
