Samra Ward Smith

Samra Ward Smith is an experienced leader in student accessibility and community development, currently serving as the Director of Student Access Resources at San Jacinto College since March 2023. Previously, Samra held the role of Director of Community Development at Hope Village, where notable accomplishments included accessible marketing campaigns and successful fundraising events. Prior experience also encompasses a significant tenure as Senior Disability Resource Coordinator at the University of Georgia, where Samra managed a large caseload of students, developed training programs, and received the NASPA Pillar of Inclusion award. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and French from the University of Mississippi.
