Stephan Castellanos

San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors and the Stockton City Council jointly appointed Stephan Castellanos to RTD’s board in 2022. Actively engaged in community affairs, Director Castellanos has served as chairman of Stockton’s Cultural Heritage Board and as Executive Director of the California Commission for Disability Access. He was also elected to the board of San Joaquin Delta College and served for 12 years. Under Governor Gray Davis’ appointment, Director Castellanos served as State Architect and developed policies for public buildings and schools to create positive environments that are sustainable and environmentally sound. He is currently a board member of the Central Valley Low Income Housing Boards and the Haggin Museum.
