Prior to this role, Annette held the position of Partner at McCormick Barstow from November 2001 to April 2012 and worked as an Associate at Jory, Peterson, Watkins & Smith from April 1996 to November 2001. Annette began a career in the legal field as a Training Assistant for the Housing Authorities of the City & County of Fresno from August 1991 to April 1996. Annette Ballatore earned a Juris Doctor degree from San Joaquin College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies from California State University, Fresno.

The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (Valley Air District) is committed to improving the health and quality of life for all Valley residents through effective and cooperative air quality programs. The District is made up of eight counties in California’s Central Valley: San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Merced, Madera, Fresno, Kings, Tulare and the San Joaquin Valley Air Basin portion of Kern.
