Ron Shinault has extensive work experience in the field of sports medicine and athletic training. Ron has worked as the Director of Health and Performance at San Jose Earthquakes Soccer since 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head Athletic Trainer for the Men's National Team at the U.S. Soccer Federation from 2019 to 2022. From 2015 to 2019, they held various roles in San Jose Earthquakes Soccer, including Director of Performance and Head Athletic Trainer. Before that, they worked at the University of San Francisco as the Director of Sports Medicine from 2008 to 2015. Ron also worked at the California Victory Professional Soccer Team as the Head Athletic Trainer in 2006, where they were responsible for constructing the medical infrastructure of the start-up franchise. Ron Shinault began their career as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Georgia from 2004 to 2006 and as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Florida State University from 2002 to 2004.
Ron Shinault obtained their Bachelor of Science in Education (BSEd) degree in Exercise Science from The University of Georgia from 1997 to 2001. Ron then pursued further education and completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Sport Management at The Florida State University from 2002 to 2003.
