Neda Tabatabaie

SVP, Business Analytics & Technology at San Jose Sharks

Neda Tabatabaie is the Vice President of Business Analytics and Technology at the San Jose Sharks. Neda has over fifteen years of experience in the field of marketing, with a focus on data and analytics.

Neda began their career as an account manager at Pargar, a small advertising agency in Toronto. After two years, they moved to Holt Renfrew, one of Canada's leading fashion retailers, where they coordinated database marketing efforts.

In 2005, Neda joined Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, where they spent nine years as the Director of Business Intelligence and Digital. In this role, they oversaw the organization's data strategy and led initiatives to increase revenue and engagement through digital channels.

In 2014, Neda left Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment to join KORE Software as the Vice President of Best Practices. Neda spent one year at KORE before moving to their current role with the San Jose Sharks.

Outside of their full-time job, Neda has been active in the Canadian marketing community. Neda served as the Vice President of Membership for the Toronto chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) from 2013 to 2014, and was a steering committee member for Fashion Cares, a charity fundraising event, in 2008.

Neda Tabatabaie has a BA in Economics from the University of Toronto - Innis College, certification from UC Berkeley Executive Education in Data Science: Bridging Principles and Practice, and certification from Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford (d.school) in Executive Design Thinking Bootcamp.

Neda Tabatabaie reports to Jonathan Becher, President. They are on a team with Doug Wilson - General Manager, Cassie Mcbride - Vice President, General Counsel, and Doug Bentz - Vice President, Marketing.
