Vincent J. Del Casino has been the Provost & SVP of Academic Affairs at San Jose State University since July 2019. Prior to that, they served as Interim Senior Vice Provost and Vice President Academic Initiatives and Student Success at the University of Arizona from July 2011 to July 2019. Vincent was also Professor and Chair of Geography at California State University-Long Beach from August 2000 to July 2011, where they oversaw the department of 12 full-time tenure-track faculty members and 6-12 lecturing faculty. Vincent was charged with program review, yearly assessment of all degree programs, expanding departmental development efforts, developing effective course scheduling and budget planning, mentoring faculty, and enhancing alumni relations network.

Dr. Vincent J. Del Casino holds a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Kentucky, a Master of Science in Geography from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations/East Asian Studies from Bucknell University.
