Melissa Wood Cebs

Melissa Wood, CEBS, has extensive experience in human resources, particularly in benefits and compensation, serving as Deputy HR Officer and Benefits & Compensation Manager at San Juan County since September 2011. Prior roles at the same organization included Benefits Coordinator and Intern. Earlier in their career, Melissa served in the United States Air Force as a Staff Sergeant, specializing as an Electrical and Environmental Journeyman. Melissa holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Public Administration from The University of New Mexico, a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication, and a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation from the Wharton School. Additional credentials include a Medical Claims and Billing Certificate and an Associate of Applied Science in Administrative Office Assistance.
