Emily Hodges

Emily Hodges is an experienced educator currently serving as a TK Teacher at San Leandro Unified School District since August 2019, with previous roles including Substitute Teacher and Intern Teacher for Berkeley Unified School District and Guest Teacher for San Lorenzo Unified School District. Emily has extensive experience as a Guest Teacher across all grades TK-12 and has worked in a Special Day Class preschool group, focusing on modified curriculum implementation. Prior to teaching, Emily held positions such as Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Superintendent at Alameda Unified School District and Senior Veterans & Military Caseworker for US Senator Tim Kaine. Emily holds a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University.
