Emily Nathan

Emily Nathan is an experienced educational leader with a strong background in program management and coordination. Currently serving as the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program Manager for San Leandro Unified School District since September 2022, Emily enhances before and after school programs for students through effective leadership and supervision. Prior to this role, Emily worked as a Middle School Network Attendance Liaison for Oakland Unified School District, where responsibilities included coaching staff on attendance practices and ensuring compliance with guidelines. Emily's experience also includes serving as the Director of Operations for REALM Charter Schools, overseeing operations for a charter school, and multiple positions within Berkeley Unified School District, including District Wide After School Program Supervisor and Coordinator. Emily holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Science with a focus on Social Work from San Jose State University.
