Dr. Marlyn Young

Dr. Marlyn Young has a solid work experience in the education sector. Dr. Marlyn began their career as a Principal at the Ector County Independent School District from July 2013 to June 2015. Dr. Marlyn then continued their leadership roles as a Behavior Coordinator at the Abilene Independent School District from July 2015 to June 2021. Afterwards, Dr. Young served as a District Behavior Coordinator for Emotional & Behavior Disorders at AISD from September 2019 to June 2021. Dr. Marlyn then moved on to the WISD - Weatherford ISD as a School Principal from June 2021 to June 2023. Currently, they are working as a School Principal at the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District from June 2023 onwards.

Dr. Marlyn Young holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Special Education and Teaching from Northcentral University, which was earned between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from the University of Phoenix, from 2006 to 2009. Dr. Marlyn also has a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree from McMurry University, with a focus on Multi-/Interdisciplinary Studies, General.
