Araceli Efigenio, MSW, serves as the Community Program Specialist II at San Mateo County Libraries, where leadership and coaching efforts have enhanced the Adult Literacy program, achieving a significant increase in tutor-learner pairings. With prior experience as a Project Manager at The Capacity Collective, Araceli managed research projects while building data capacity for nonprofit clients. Additional roles include serving as a Public Policy Intern at The Mockingbird Society, where Araceli supported youth advocacy initiatives, and as a Data Intern at ML Whalen Consulting, focusing on cultural best practices in research. Araceli's experience also includes assisting in program evaluation at Seattle Municipal Court and managing cases for unaccompanied minors at YouthCare Seattle. Araceli holds an MSW and a BA in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Washington.
