Danae Ramirez is a seasoned professional in financial services and management with extensive experience in the public sector. Currently serving as the Deputy Director at San Mateo County Libraries since December 2016, Danae oversees the Financial Services Division, which includes budget, payroll, purchasing, and human resources. Previous roles include Management Analyst for the County of San Mateo and Strategic Planning Analyst at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego. Danae began a career in policy as a Legislative Policy Advisor for the County of San Diego. Academically, Danae holds a Master of Public Administration from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from UC San Diego.
