Ginny Mies is an experienced librarian currently serving as a Librarian II at San Mateo County Libraries since October 2016, where responsibilities include selecting and managing e-resources and contributing to the library's online presence. Prior to this role, Ginny worked as an On-Call Librarian I at South San Francisco Public Library and held positions in content development and editing at TechSoup Global, PCWorld.com, and PR Newswire. Additionally, Ginny's early career involved writing for the Academy of Art University. Educational qualifications include a Master of Library & Information Science from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Arts in History of Art and Visual Culture from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
