Dan Lieberman

Dan Lieberman currently serves as the Public Information Officer for San Mateo County Transit District since January 2023. Prior to this role, Dan worked at SamTrans as a Public Affairs Specialist from January 2017 to February 2024. Dan's experience includes positions such as Project Manager at TiVo and various titles within the California State Senate, including Press Secretary, District Director, and District Representative, held between December 2006 and November 2014. Dan also served as a District Representative for the California State Assembly from September 2005 to December 2006 and worked as a Field Operative for Lou Correa's campaign in 2006. Additionally, Dan gained early experience as an Administrative Staffer with The Junior Statesmen Foundation in 2003. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology/Sociology and Political Science from Knox College, completed in 2005, and graduated from Hillsdale High School in 2001.
