Emily Beach

Emily Beach is an accomplished communications professional serving as the Chief Communications Officer at San Mateo County Transit District since January 2017, where leadership involves overseeing a diverse team focused on government affairs, public information, and marketing for multiple transport services. Emily has held significant roles in local governance as a City Councilmember and former Mayor of Burlingame, and has contributed to several boards, including the San Mateo County Transportation Authority Board of Directors, Caltrain Local Policy Makers Group, and the League of California Cities.
