Claire Toutant

Claire Toutant is an experienced psychiatrist with a career spanning several decades, currently serving as a Council Member for the Mid-Coast Community Council since November 2015 and practicing at San Mateo Medical Center since February 2015. With a private practice established in 1984, Claire specializes in general adult psychiatry. Previous roles include Chief of Psychiatry at Sequoia Hospital and El Camino Hospital, and various psychiatric positions in transitional and inpatient care. Claire's early career involved community organization and education, contributing to social services and teaching roles. Claire holds an MD in Medicine and a Master's in Community Development from the University of Louisville, along with a Bachelor's degree from Bellarmine University.
