Kathia Herschkorn

Kathia Herschkorn has extensive experience in community services and interpretation, currently serving as a Community Liaison for Student Services at San Rafael City Schools since May 2018. In addition to this role, Herschkorn has been the Business Owner of KAH Interpreting/Translations Services since August 2010, and has worked as a Spanish Interpreter at the Golden Gate Regional Center and MCOE since January 2010 and January 2005, respectively. Previously, Herschkorn was a Spanish Medical Interpreter at Brighter Beginnings from January 2013 to December 2013 and served as a Bilingual Advocate for the Victim Witness Assistance Project and the Domestic Violence Project from 1996 to 1999. Herschkorn holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Behavior Studies from the University of San Francisco and completed training as a Spanish/English Medical Interpreter at Berkeley City College from 2011 to 2014.
