Susan Akram

Susan Akram is an experienced education administrator currently serving as the Education Administrator for San Rafael City Schools since September 2020. Prior to this role, Akram held positions as Assistant Principal at Davidson Middle School and Abraham Lincoln High School, as well as serving as an Instructional Reform Facilitator with the San Francisco Unified School District. Akram began a teaching career at Central High School and Greenwich High School, focusing on English, and also taught as an adjunct professor. Academic qualifications include a Leadership Support Program for New Administrators from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Science in English and Education from Southern Connecticut State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Connecticut, complemented by a summer fellowship at the Globe Theater in London.
