Susanna Ordway

Susanna Wong Ordway serves as the first Asian American governing member of the Board of Education for the San Ramon Valley Unified School District since June 2018, overseeing the district budget and adopting policies to enhance education quality and equity. As a College Planning Advisor since June 2016, Susanna Ordway provides guidance in navigating the complex college search and application processes. Prior experience includes roles such as Independent Contractor for the City of San Ramon, where Susanna Ordway taught STEM-integrated art classes, and an Educator position in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, specializing in art integrated with STEM subjects. Additionally, Susanna Ordway owned and designed for Susanna Ordway Jewelry Designs, and held marketing and communications roles at Meriwest Credit Union and Alliance Federal Credit Union. Educational qualifications include a BA in Foreign Languages & Cultures from Pomona College and an MIM/MBA in International Marketing and Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
