Dan Howard

Dan has over 30 years of experience in healthcare information technology leadership in the community, faith-based, and academic health systems, his calling.

Dan ran his own consultancy, served as CIO for the University of South Alabama Health System, and was site CIO for Loma Linda University Health and its partner organizations. He also held various leadership roles at Fidelity Information Systems, Metavante, and Kaiser Permanente.

Dan holds degrees in nursing and biology and has an MBA with an information management emphasis. He maintains active certifications as a Project Management Professional, is a Certified Healthcare CIO through the College of Health Information Management Executives, and is an active member of the Health Information and Management Systems community.
