Christina Chaivorapol

Vice President, Translational Technologies at Sana Biotechnology

Christina Chaivorapol has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and bioinformatics fields. Christina began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1999. After that, they worked as a National Science Foundation Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco from 2002 to 2008. Christina then became a Christine Mirzayan Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the National Academy of Sciences for a brief period in 2008.

In 2008, Chaivorapol joined Genentech as an Intern before transitioning to the role of Computational Biologist. Christina worked in this role until 2014. From 2014 to 2017, they held the position of Research Group Leader (Director) in Bioinformatics, Immunology, and Human Genetics at Roche.
